Accounts Assistant

We are currently supporting a growing, forward-thinking organisation in Aberdeen with the appointment of an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis, with strong potential for the role to become permanent.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may be studying ACCA (or actively working towards it) and looking to gain hands-on experience within a supportive and commercially driven finance team.

The Role

You will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance across transactional processes.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Purchase ledger and sales ledger processing

• Bank reconciliations

• Assisting with month-end processes

• Supporting management accounts preparation

• Handling queries and liaising with internal stakeholders

• Maintaining accurate financial records

The Person

We are keen to speak with candidates who:

• Are ideally currently studying ACCA (or planning to)

• Have previous experience in a finance or accounts role

• Are highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Have good Excel skills

• Are eager to develop and progress within a growing business

Part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for someone balancing studies alongside work.
